Infrared Sauna
Step into our brand-new Infrared Sauna at The Well — designed to support your body and mind. Infrared heat works at a deeper level than traditional saunas, promoting detoxification, relaxation, better sleep, and faster muscle recovery — all in a more comfortable, breathable environment.

Why Infrared?

Think of an infrared sauna session as passive cardio. Your heart rate naturally rises in a similar way to moderate exercise, boosting circulation and metabolism. Regular use can help:
-
Lower stress and cortisol levels
-
Improve mood and mental clarity
-
Support recovery after training
-
Enhance sleep quality
-
Promote healthy skin and detoxification

Our Sauna

Our infrared sauna is available for private bookings or to share with a friend. Whether you’d like a solo retreat or to relax together, the choice is yours.

You can also connect your own music playlist via Bluetooth — from energising beats to calming meditation — to make the experience completely personal. (We just ask you to be mindful of others in the building.)

What to Expect During Your Visit

-
Arrival: Please arrive on time for your session as late arrival may shorten your session.
-
Preparation: Remove makeup, jewellery, and heavy lotions to allow your skin to fully benefit.
-
Clothing: For best results, wear minimal clothing or swimwear so the infrared light can reach your skin effectively.
-
Hydration: Drink water before and after your session to support detoxification and recovery.

First-Time Users

If it’s your first time, start with a 20 minute session to allow your body to adjust. You may begin to sweat lightly, but benefits still occur even if you don’t sweat much the first time. Over time, as your body adapts, you can extend to longer times - must be staff sessions of more than 20 minutes.
Remember: listen to your body. If you feel dizzy, overheated, or unwell, end the session immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can anyone use the Infrared Sauna?
Not always. Please avoid use if you are:
-
Pregnant (any stage)
-
Under the influence of alcohol or drugs
-
Experiencing uncontrolled high blood pressure
-
Suffering from unstable heart conditions (recent heart attack, severe angina, etc.)
-
Unable to sweat
-
Wearing a pacemaker, or with certain implants/medication patches (please consult your doctor first)
How often should I use the sauna?
For general wellness: 2–3 sessions per week.

What should I wear?
Minimal clothing is best — a swimsuit or towel. Avoid synthetic fabrics. No makeup, as it can block pores.
Do I need to sweat for it to work?
Not necessarily. Even if you don’t sweat heavily, the infrared heat is still working deep within your body. Over time, you’ll likely sweat more as your body adapts.

Can I use the sauna after a workout?
Yes — it’s an excellent recovery tool post-exercise. Just rehydrate properly before entering.

Can I bring my phone?
We don’t recommend it. The heat may damage electronics, and your session is designed to be a time to disconnect.

At The Well, our Infrared Sauna is more than just heat — it’s a restorative experience designed to complement your training, recovery, and overall wellbeing.
